Each student, going into grades 1-8, is REQUIRED to read preselected books this summer.

Parents and students can obtain the required summer reading list by clicking on OUR GRADE SCHOOL (within MHOC website) and click on the appropriate grade level. Students are to look at the grade THEY WILL BE ENTERING IN AUGUST. Barnes & Noble on University Dr. in Coral Springs also has the required summer reading lists for each grade available at their Service Desk as well as a sufficient supply of each of the books.

Students are also required to complete the accompanying worksheets. A link for the worksheets is also available under each grade level. The worksheet/s must be completed FOR EACH OF THE BOOKS THE STUDENT READS THIS SUMMER.

It highly recommended that children read at least 30 minutes per day!
