The Fundraising Committee is always looking for volunteers for the Harvest Fall Festival.  Each family is required to contribute a minimum of 8 hours towards the Harvest Festival, the school's largest fundraiser of the year.  The school office can provide contact information to get you started.

The Fundraising committee is currently looking for energetic, detail oriented people to be on the following Fall Harvest Festival committees:

Entertainment

Scheduling the days' events and finding interested participants i.e. high school jazz bands, baton twirlers, danceschools, local fire departments etc.

Food

Coordinating a kitchen crew and soliciting food donations i.e. hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, buns and condiments as well as paper goods.

Games

Assistance with set-up, implementation, and execution of games during the festival.

Parking

Assistance with parking during the event to keep pedestrians safe and to allow for the maximum number of cars onsite.

Advertising / Signage

Sun-Sentinel, church bulletins, city websites, Parkland news magazine, signs for all of the games and events, map of days events, silent auction banner etc.

Vendors

Selling tables for craft vendors so we need to contact as many crafters as we can.

Tickets

Determining the number of tickets for each game / event / food and counting the tickets at the end of the festival.

Corporate Contact Person

A group of 5 or so who would like to contact places like Publix, Home Depot, Office Depot etc. I have been told that Publix will donate 500 sugar cookies and icing to set up a cookie decorating booth and Home Depot will donate 100 bird house kits to make. We just need to find out who to contact for these sort of items. Any item that we need donated will come through this committee so we do not double dip our generous donors.

Volunteers

Working out a volunteer schedule for the festival. Recruiting high school volunteers who need service hours for graduation.

Setup / Cleanup

Self explanatory. However, Father Tom has asked that we have more dads involved in this committee because it was too many women doing all of the work after dark last year.
