School Office Hours

On school days, the office will be opened from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The school phone number is (954) 323-8006. If you need to contact your child's teacher or would like to schedule an appointment, please call the office and leave a message. The teacher will return your call as soon as possible.

Early Drop-off

• The earliest a child can be dropped off is 7:30 a.m. (supervised care) and a $3.00 per day will be assessed.   Please see Mrs. Messina in the school office for further information.

School Hours

The school's doors will be opened at 7:40 a.m. on school days. Class begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Kindergarten and 1st grade dismisses at 2:30 p.m. and all other grades will dismiss at 2:50 p.m.(2008-2009). There will be specific times throughout the school year when there will be early release days. Generally, early release is 1 p.m.  Please refer to the school calendar for these dates and times.

After-Care Program

Our aftercare program is available from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. The children are supervised by our professional staff. Children are given the opportunity to do their homework with the benefit of an adult to provide assistance if necessary. Most often the children play outside on the playground, weather permitting, after their homework is done. Movie time and board games also fill their afternoon. Please contact Mrs. Messina for further information regarding our aftercare program.

Rates

The daily rate applies for students utilizing after-care less than 5 days per week.  Parents of children attending the program on a part-time basis MUST PAY ON THE DAY THEIR CHILD ATTENDS either that morning or when picking up the child.

LATE PICK-UP:  Students not picked by 3:15 p.m. WILL be sent to the aftercare program and a late fee of $5.0 per child will be charged.  Daily rates will apply for any student picked up after 3:3 p.m.   MHOC aftercare program closes promptly at 6:00 p.m.  There will be an extra $1.00 late fee for every minute past 6:00 p.m. 

EARLY DISMISSAL DAYS:  On early dismissal days, we will have aftercare from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  There will be an extra $10.00 charge added to the daily or weekly rates. 

Service Hours

Each family shall be obligated annually to serve 20 hours of volunteer service to the school - 8 hours must be for our annual Fall Harvest Festival. A $20.00 per hour fee will be assessed for any hours not served and $35 per hour for each fundraising festival hour not served.
